Yorkshire Terrier

The tiny glamourous Yorkshire Terrier we know today could have had its beginnings in the cold tunnels of mines and mills of Northern towns where its purpose was to kill vermin in the mid-nineteenth century.

Yorkies are easily adaptable to all surroundings, travel well and make suitable pets for many homes. Due to their small size, they require limited exercise but need daily interaction with people. They thrive on attention and love.

Todays Yorkie is a curious game little dog, ready for anything, either romping through the countryside, enjoying a swim or a roll in the mud.
